Our mission

Arkhub’s mission is to speed up archaeological discovery. We believe that many of the important discoveries of our time can come from citizen archaeologists who have the right tools, methods and people to work with. Arkhub gives professional researchers, citizen archaeologists and technologists one place to work together, from the first idea and the remote analysis to the field expedition. The goal is research that is rigorous, documented and ready to fund.

Why a creator economy

Good research takes time and money. Many of the people who do it, independent researchers, authors and guides, earn nothing from the work they share. Arkhub lets them earn from it, in the same place where their research lives:
  • Sessions: people book a paid video call to ask about your research.
  • Experiences: you lead tours, field trips, lectures and workshops at the places in Arkhub.
  • Books: you show the books you wrote, with buy links and signed copies.
Each of these links back to the records of the places they are about. A tour itinerary links to the sites it visits. A session or a book sits on the profile that holds your versions of those records. Your research and the way you earn from it support each other.

Who it is for

The creator tools are for verified creators: researchers, authors and guides who link their X account to Arkhub. Anyone can browse storefronts and experiences.
