Storefronts
A storefront is a researcher’s own page atapp.arkhub.co/username/storefront. It can offer:
- Experiences: tours and workshops with reservations.
- Sessions: paid video calls about their research. Pick a time, answer the host’s questions, and you get a confirmation with where the call happens.
- Books: their books, with buy links and signed copies.
Payments are in demo mode: no card is charged and nothing is booked. Click Coming soon at checkout to leave your email for when paying on Arkhub ships.
The Apps portal
If you are a verified creator, you offer your own experiences, sessions and books from the Apps portal atapp.arkhub.co/apps. It has its own sidebar: your earnings and your apps on the home, the catalogue of apps to add, and your settings.
1
Get verified
Storefront is for verified creators. Link your X account from your settings or from the portal. Until then you can look around the portal, but nothing is saved or shown to anyone.
2
Add an app
Open Apps in the portal and add Experiences, Book a session or Books. See Experiences for tours. Apps that are not built yet (virtual tours, online courses, memberships, digital downloads) open a signup for when they ship.
3
Set it up
- Experiences: title, kind, description, the itinerary day by day with the records each stop visits, departures with dates and prices, and your currency.
- Sessions: a title, a price, when you are available, and where the call happens (your Zoom, Google Meet or other room). Add questions for people to answer when they book.
- Books: find your books by title or paste a link, then add buy links or offer signed copies.
4
Go live
Switch an app live to show it on your storefront. Each session has a link to share and an embed. Your settings hold your payment details, invoices, tax, legal terms and notifications.
Coming soon in the portal
- Google Calendar: check your calendar so nobody books you when you are busy, and put each booking in it.
- Google Meet rooms made for each booked session.
- Group sessions.
- Listing your sessions on Discover.
